Operation

To operate from the outside you will need an Adams 8346 Patio lock Cylinder

Available in both deadlocking and self latching versions

Designed to fit within very narrow sliding door stiles. The stainless steel bolt has three unusual features:

Adjustability: a full 4.6mm lengthening or shortening of bolt projection can be made by turning an exposed screw in the face of the lock, compensating for a considerable misalignment between door and jamb.
Self protection: if the door is closed with thebolt in the locked position the bolt will retract immediately on contact with the jamb, preventing damage or lock-out.
Anti-lifting: the 3-ply laminated stainless steel hookbolt is designed to withstand approximately half a ton of force vertically or horizontally, thus protecting against jamb/door attack lock operation by: various flush locksets, cylinder blocks, patio sets, and thumbturns.

Operation: Standard bored cylinder (with pull) or 1000 Series Turn. Anti-Lift Bolt: 3-Ply Laminated Stainless Steel.
