Only Fingersafe® is Suitable for the Following Doors:

Doors opening 190 degrees (most shield/guards implode above 90 degrees)

Fire doors opening beyond 120 degrees at which point most shields/guards will tear off the door or the frame, putting a doorstop creates a serious trip hazard and it is illegal to impede the opening of a fire door.

One-way opening doors with centre pivots which can cause shields or wraparounds to implode or tear off.
Doors without locks or closing mechanisms as the shields/guards or wraparounds can often push the door open.

Avoid using a device that is just glued to the door and frame; no matter how good the glue is, it is only as good as the surface that it is stuck to. For example if the paintwork is old, not undercoated properly or the surfaces are rusty or dirty.
