This group of locks typically mimic the traditional Yale Cylinder Night Latch in there operation other that they are Morticed into the door. When the door is closed into the frame the latch will lock into the keep and normally by a turn or a handle on the inside of the door and a key on the outside of the door operates the lock. Again we have a list for the main Assa Abloy group of companies like Chub Locks, Yale Locks and Union Locks. Some of these locks also incorporate a dead locking principle that dead locks the latch when the door is in the closed position.
