The brand new Easyprox compact keypad is a complete standalone battery powered access control system, all in one box. Easy to fit; Easyprox compact keypad comes with everything you need for a swift installation.

No external power supply is required, making Easyprox compact keypad perfect for internal security where mains wiring can prove tricky. Once fitted, Easyprox compact keypad is so simple to use. To wake up the unit simply press the wakeup button on the keypad (left) or briefly depress the handle to power the system.

The red, amber and green LED lights on the reader will start to flash and the reader is ready to use. This ensures maximum battery life from the unit. Easyprox compact keypad has an impressive typical battery life of up to five years based on 30,000 operations.

Perfect for use in sports club locker-rooms, storerooms, halls of residence, classrooms; Easyprox compact keypad allows you to choose the most appropriate level of security for your customer.

About

Easyprox compact keypad is an all-in-one battery powered lock and access control system that is ideal for internal doors. Installing the system is easy because it's not wired into a mains power source. This keypad may also be used with proximity tokens to allow token plus code or PIN

Installation

Use the template provided to fit the door latch. Cut the square drive to length and slide into the latch. Fit the battery and connect to the unit. The unit will start to beep. Enter your chosen six digit programming code (If using token plus code or PIN then you will also need to present the enrolment card at this stage). Fit the front and rear lock assembly to the door and secure the two parts of the lock together with the fixing screws. Close the door and mark the top and bottom of the latch where it touches the frame. Mark the correct position and fit the strike plate.

Operation

If using code or PIN simply enter the number and the door will unlock. If using token plus code or pin, press the power button to "wake up" the unit, present the token then enter the code or PIN.
