Locking outside

GU has come up with a range of electrically operated locks that can work on UPVC and wooden multipoint locking systems.
For years fitting keypads, proximity, biometrics and intercom systems to work in conjunction with upvc doors has been incredibly difficult.
Trying to get a suitable locking system that can be controlled via access contro devices has always been hap-hazard to say the least.
GU has come up with a range of electrically operated locks that can work on UPVC and wooden multipoint locking systems.
The standard multipoint lock we have to offer works like a manual lock but can also unlock with 12 volt electrical pulse that will retract the top, middle and bottom latches from there normal 20 mm throw position.

Safety door locks with 2 automatic deadbolts.
Locking: automatic
– By simple closing of the door, 2 deadbolting latches function
as deadbolts which are locked against being pushed back.
– The deadbolt of the door lock produces a three point
locking of the door.
– 20 mm throw of deadbolts and deadbolting latches.
Unlocking: manual
Unlocking is effected from outside by turning the key or from inside via turn handle.
Features and advantages:

- Entrance doors with G.U-SECURY Automatic door locks are tested to ENV 1627 and rated WK 2 and WK 3.

- Reversible latch and deadbolting latches make the locks DIN lh and DIN rh usable.
- The lock case is fully enclosed – dirt or other foreign bodies cannot obstruct the easy operation of the lock.
- All openings in the lock case are provided with bushings – drilling swarf cannot fall in the drive mechanism.
- The dimensions of the lock case and the additional locks correspond to the specifications of DIN 18251 part 3.

Additional Information
The lock comes standard with 92 mm handle/cylinder centres and a range of back sets from the standard 35 mm for UPVC doors and then for wooden doors 55, 65 and 80 mm.
The lock has to have a permanent 12 volt DC supply (1amp),
