Union Locks, Union L 2370 Mortice Euro/Oval Dead Locking Door Latch, allows the use of the older UK standard Oval Profile Cylinder or the newer EU Euro Profile Cylinder. You can use a double cylinder with a thumb turn on the inside that would allow the you to turn the turn and exit freely without the use of a key. From the outside the use of a key would be needed to gain access, the lock case also has a 8 mm follower to allow a handle to be fitted on the inside, for easier egress. Above the main latch you will see in the picture a Black Dead Locking Snip that when the door is in the closed position this snip gets depressed and dead locks the door.
