Designed for a range of different rim locks, this is an ASEC London Door Security Bar. This door bar is used to reinforce over the keep (the staple, the side where the door latch goes into) so that if someone was to try and force thier way in, the bar would help take the load away from the screws and lock.
The D in shape is where the keep is positioned, which is why it is important to order the correct bar. However, it is easy to install with holes already drilled and screws supplied with this product. All of these bars are 1.8m long.
The varying D sizes can be found below:
AS5006 - Staple length - 110mm. Staple Width - 40mm.
AS5007 - Staple length - 120mm. Staple Width - 45mm.
AS5008 - Staple length - 90mm. Staple width - 30mm.
AS5010 - Staple length - 90mm. Staple width - 30mm.
AS5009 - Staple length - 100mm. Staple width - 35mm.
AS5011 - Staple length - 72mm. Staple width - 30mm.
AS5058 - Staple length - 105mm. Staple width - 45mm.
