Paxton have created this ideal active proximity card to use with its systems that allows the reader to see your position up to 2.5 meters away, depending on the NET2 system you have installed on the premesis. These allows for very convenient and effective hands-free access for authorised persons, not something commonly seen on typical key card setups.
These active keycards work with the NET2 systems from Paxton and are classed as hands free, meaning you do not necessarily need to physically present the fob to the reader. This depends on the reader you have, some require a distance of no larger than 85cm, whilst others allow for readings from up to 2.5metres away!
Ideal for use with barrier systems, loading doors or disabled persons / wheel chair users, it means that from a distance to door can be opened.
These are sold as individual cards, and are used with the Paxton P38, Paxton P50, Paxton P75 and Paxton P200 systems.
