The ACTsmart 1070e is both a reader and controller. It is built of rugged polycarbonate and is extremely attractive in design. This proximity only device can be used either indoors or outdoors (IP67) and can be surface or flush mounted. It may be totally standalone or connected to other ACTsmart devices in a master slave mode, which enables changes to all doors to be made at one door (max 8 doors). This is an older variation from the ACTsmart range, with the newer ACTsmart2 1070e being an updated version of this, and also offering the ability to be networked into a 16 door configuration.
