Hi guys, my name is Darrel and I'm the head of the tech team here at www.LocksOnline.co.uk. Thank you for taking some time to tune in and take a look at one of our product review videos, today we are going to be talking to you about the new guest lock 200 and guest lock 4000, the combination lock from the manufacturers CodeLock.
Today we are obviously talking about codelocks, this is a part of their 2000 and 4000 series guestlocks. The idea is quite simple, if you are a guest in a lodge, guest house or hotel, it allows you to decide what code you want to secure your room. So the principle is quite straightforward and I will try and demonstrate it today on the 2000 series.
An as example, you have booked a room at a hotel and arrive. You will be asked to remember the standard change code, when you go to the door and immediately after you enter your 4 digit code. This is the code you will use for the duration of your stay. Afterwards the code gets reset and process starts over. What it does mean is that this allows you not to have to worry about keys, cards and fobs.
It is available on the 2000 and 4000 series; the 4000 series has a lever handle for more industrial applications. Its current state is locked (2:21) we enter the key number, then the code we want, so that is now our code. Whilst you are there that will be the code you need to use. The cleaners etc can still use the master code to gain access. The master code can be entered afterwards allowing you to be able to reset the code and begin the process again.
So there you go guys that is the main feature of the Guest lock 2000 and Guest lock 4000. It is available with a tubular latch. One quick note before we go is that the codelock gives you visual alerts via the LED on the front when there are only 100 operations left. In the event of complete failure it can be charged temporarily via a 9v battery.
So, there you go, available on LocksOnlines website. If you need a bit more information feel free to pop over an email to us or come onto live chat. Either way we'd love to hear from you and even more so love you as a customer, so, my name is Darrel, Thank you for watching.
