The distinctive feature of this model in particular is that it has a rim cylinder that sits on the outside of the door to allow the operator to use a key to open the lock from outside and from inside the the lock can be operated from the push red button shown in the images.
To the side of the red button is a key way that is works with the same key as the outside that allows the operator to lock of the push to exit button stopping users on the inside from operating the lock with the red push button.
Connecting power to these locks is normally done through the door from the hinge side. We show an option of a door loop on the page if needed but we also are able to offer the Cisa Current Transfer Unit, which can be used either on the hinge-side or the opening side of the door if you already have power there from an old strike release or similar.
We also show a power supply. These locks are quite power hungry compared to some locks and require around 2.5 amps to drive the solenoid bolt. So we have listed also a 3 amp power supply if needed. Please note that if integrating with an intercom or similar, if the system does not offer "dry" volt-free contacts then you'll need to consider using the Handy Relay we offer also.
In
addition to the options you will also see a London Bar that can be fitted over
the keep in the frame (inward opening only) and this will 'beef' up the
security of the keep on the frame.
The Cisa Lock we have tested can accommodate door thickness of up to 80 mm. Here in the UK most doors are either 55 mm thick or 54 mm thick so we see no problem, using this lock on typical wooden doors in the UK.
The finish is a grey powder coated finish and it has a case size of 125 mm long 101mm High and 35 mm deep the back set from the leading edge of the lock the centre of the cam for the cylinder is 60 mm. Supplied with fixings
