These electronically operated bolt locks are designed for cabinets and cupboard doors, where you need to control who has access to the cabinet or cupboard.
How you wish to control the access is entirely up to you; we can offer a wide range of access devices including proximity card/fob readers, keypads and fingerprint readers, which will allow you to register authorised persons and restrict access to these people only. What's more, you could even control the times that access is allowed by use of a timeclock to enable / disable use of the access device during certain times. Because these locks operate on 12 volts DC, this really lends its self to being used in conjunction with some of the most popular access control devices.
The electric cabinet lock is small in design, measuring just 80mm x 29mm x 28mm, making it ideal for not just full size cabinets, but also smaller filing cabinets or similar, where many electric locking devices would either not fit, or in the best case scenario would simply consume too much valuable space within the cabinet. However due to the compact nature of these locks, they lend themselves perfectly to filing cabinets, medicine cabinets and similar. And with minimal weight (just 1.2kg), there's very little concern with regards to strain on hinges or extra load on drawer runners.
Able to be fitted horizontally and vertically, you can make the most of the usable space in your cabinet by fitting these in the least obstructive way depending on your particular setup. Of course fitting them as close to the opening side of the door in hinged applications is always advisable for the best level of security, but you still get a good degree of flexibility with regards to fitting these in various positions.
Available in a standard fail-locked model and also a fail-unlocked model, you have the option of being able to wire these into a monitoring station or similar, so that you can constantly monitor the state of the lock, to see whether or not the bolt is locked or not.
