We have surface-mount armature plates, Z&L brackets for an inward opening doors, and of course L-bracket for your more standard setup, this is the complete range of brackets and mounts for the full-size models in the LocksOnline EM series of maglocks.
Suitable for use with the EM20 full size mag, these brackets are purpose-made for these mags but may well work for others.
For outward opening doors, you'd typically only ever need an L bracket if the magnet needs more surface area than your door frame can offer. For inward opening doors you would normally use a set a Z&L brackets, with the L bracket used to mount the mag to the frame and then utilising the Z bracket as a stepper to mount the armature plate so that it would make contact with the elevated maglock.
The surface-mount plate is designed to allow
you to mount the armature plate without putting a hole through the
door. It is generally not necessary but can be desirable if you do not
wish to drill through the door, or do not want a domed bolt head to be
visible from outside.
