Whether you need a surface-mount plate for the armature plate, a set of Z&L brackets for an inward opening application, or just an L-bracket for your outward opening setup, this is the complete range of brackets and mounts for the LocksOnline EM series of slimline maglocks.
Suitable for use with the EM01, EM02, or doubled-up for use with the EM05 double mag, these brackets are purpose-made for these mags but may well work for others.
For outward opening doors, you'd typically only ever need an L bracket if the magnet needs more surface area than your door frame can offer. For inward opening doors you would normally use a set a Z&L brackets, with the L bracket used to mount the mag to the frame and then utilising the Z bracket as a stepper to mount the armature plate so that it would make contact with the elevated maglock.
The surface-mount plate is designed to allow you to mount the armature plate without putting a hole through the door. It is generally not necessary but can be desirable if you do not wish to drill through the door, or do not want a domed bolt head to be visible from outside.
