Weatherproof Monitored Midi External Maglock

This mid-sized maglock measures a modest 220 x 46 x 30mm - a step up from most slimline maglocks but not to the extent of a full-size maglock which can often be too bulky for gate setups. It is made with a stainless steel case and comes supplied complete with a pack of fixings, and of course the armature plate (which measures 182 x 42 x 12mm).
Boasting an impressive 360kg (over 800lbs) of holding force, these maglocks are a common solution for fitting access control on gates, and offer outputs from an internal reed sensor for monitoring purposes, so you can even hook these up to other devices that can allow you to see whether the gate is open or closed. To compliment the degree of diversity this maglock provides, these are also manufactured as a dual-voltage solution, allowing for use of both 12v and 24v DC power inputs. With the majority of access control systems being 12vDC, and with most of the remainder then using 24vDC, this is a very handy feature to have for installers who may not always know the correct voltage until they are on-site.
As you will see in the photos, this maglock comes pre-wired with a 20mm conduit connection where the cable leaves the case, to assist with the weather-proofing. The fly-lead is approximately 1 metre long, giving the installer plenty to work with to make their terminations to any further cable runs required. For information on the cores of this cable, please see the wiring instruction image - this gives detail on each of the coloured cores including the relay outputs from the reed sensor for monitoring, and also details the necessary pairing required depending on whether the supplied voltage is 12vDC or 24vDC.
The current consumption on these is just 500mA @ 12vDC or 250mA @ 24v DC.
