The EB250 is an electronic solenoid driven bolt lock, designed as a general purpose electric locking solution for access control on a variety of doors. It is a flush-mount solution so would need to be morticed into the door or frame and comes supplied with a finishing cover-plate and the necessary keep plate with mounted magnet for door position monitoring.
Running on 12v DC as standard, these solenoid bolt locks will consume a maximum of 900mA on initial surge, and once locked will hold in place running at just 360mA, reducing power consumption almost to a third of the consumption used on operation.
Whilst this is a budget solution in terms of price, it's actually a fully featured lock offering door status monitoring outputs and even comes with mounting plates for hollow metal frames, allowing for installation on hollow box section and aluminium doors.
Also featured on this lock is a time delay settings, offering up to 9 seconds of time-delay from the moment the door is lined up with the magnetised keep to the moment the bolt is fired (assuming power has been applied).
