Ideal as a replacement for the discontinued ACT 433 remote fob systems, this long-range remote fob system uses weigand outputs which allows for seamless integration into any weigand-ready access control systems (of which most are these days). If you have an old ACT 433 system and you've discovered you cannot buy the fobs any more, you can change the 433 reader for one of these new readers, and then buy these new fobs and you're good to go!
With a read-range of up to 20mm, this device allows you to interact with your access control system via remote, to allow you to trigger whatever it is you're controlling without the need to physically present anything to a reader. Typical uses include gate automation, where you wish to gain access through an entry gate from within your vehicle, but can also commonly be used for disability assistance, allowing people to remotely unlock doors to allow visitors to gain entry, preventing difficulty for anybody who struggles with their mobility.
The compact physical design of the receiver allows for very neat and minimalistic installation, even on very narrow door stiles or gate posts, measuring just 42mm wide, 120mm high, and sitting just 24mm deep. And as these are a sealed unit, they achieve a phenomenal IP68 weatherproof rating, so can of course be fitted externally in even the harshest of environments - just make sure that your wiring is suitably protected!
The receiver also features a tri-colour LED signal as well as an audible bleeper for user feedback, to acknowledge access attempts and feed-back for successful or unsuccessful actions.
For compatibility assurance, the weigand output uses the 26bit format, and the remote frequency is 868Mhz.
