If you need a bathroom lock for a toilet door on a public or business premises, this DIN Standard bathroom lock will ensure that you comply with the DDA requirements with regards to DIN Standard locks.
This is because the distance between the handle and the follower (this is where the spindle from your privacy turn set will sit through the lock case) exceeds the minimum requirement of 72mm. On this particular lock case it is 78mm, allowing for easy use by all members of the public with or without disability.
What's more, these are fire-rated bathroom door locks, and have been tested and approved for 30 minute fire doors and 60 minute fire doors.
Due to the the heavy-duty grade springs, they are suitable for un-sprung handles as well as sprung handles, and thanks to the hard-wearing internal components such as the roller bearing type follower in these locks; the manufacturer has applied a 5-year guarantee to sweeten the deal.
All this comes at a very low price and we would consider these excellent value for money!
Available in a stainless steel finish for easy cleaning, they come with either standard square-ended faceplates, or you can choose to have radius-ended faceplates instead should this suit your doors better.
Our product specifications are given in good faith but can be subject to manufacturer change without notice. Should an attribute be of essense to your purchase, please feel free to contact us first for confirmation.
