This compact digital timeclock offers 8 daily triggers (56 weekly), and can be programmed to individual settings per day, or in pre-set and custom day-groups such as Monday to Friday, then Saturday and Sunday. This offering is far more diverse than that of many of its popular rivals.
So whether you're looking to enable or disable entry through your electric lock during certain hours on certain days, or perhaps you want certain areas of a building to automatically allow access through your electric lock setup during certain hours to allow delivery drivers to enter freely, this full-featured timeclock has got it covered.
In addition to the timed schedules, the timeclock also features a manual override button - this allows you to toggle the state of the relay at any time simply by pressing the button. When you then want to resume the normal timed service, you'd simply press the manual override button again to return to the programmed schedule.
On the back of the unit you'll find the terminals which are numbered 1-5. You'll see these in the photos, where 1 & 2 are your positive and negative power inputs (either 12vAC/DC or 24vAC/DC depending on which model you choose), then terminals 3-5 are your common, normally closed, and normally open outputs which will give you the best of both worlds in terms of the devices you wish to control. Normally closed will be used for the items you wish to be powered under normal state, and then your normally open will be used for the items you wish to be powered when the relay is triggered. In most instances for simple installs you'll use one or the other, but you can of course use both if you have an array of different devices which have different requirements.
Available in 12v and 24v models, you can switch up to 6amps of load (on 12vDC, for 24vDC this would be halved), which would accomodate the vast majority of access control installations which typically consume between 1 - 5amps on 12vDC power supplies, depending on the scale of the system and the devices being used.
