LocksOnline Hand-Forged Pewter Cabinet Latch

This unusual and quirky cabinet latch has a lovely rustic charm to it thanks to the way in which the pewter has been hand-forged to create the item. The two semi-circular backplates feature lightly beveled edges with a hammered detail, whilst the catch itself has a similarly individual appearance. The pewter creates a multi-tonal finish on the catch and the variegated finish adds further character. The arm of the catch has a slight lip on the end of it making it easy to hold on to and operate. The hook for the catch holds it neatly in place when secured shut, and on the other side, there is a small raised 'stopper' to rest the arm against when it's open preventing it from swinging down and getting in the way. This catch is ideally suited to holding closed cupboard doors or perhaps sliding doors on a serving hatch for example. Definitely an unusual piece of door furniture!

The fixing plates have an approximate height of 70mm and a width of 36mm at their widest point. The arm of the catch measures approximately 50mm in length. These measurements are approximate and may vary slightly given the hand-forged nature of the product. It is supplied with all required fixing screws ready for quick installation.
