Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I am head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thank you very much for tuning in and having a look at one of our product review videos. What we are looking at today is a range of handles that are manufactured by a company called Fab and Fix and they are used primarily on the Fullex Range Multi-Point Locks that have 68 mm centres. Now let's talk a little bit more about these centres and these PZ sized measurements, because it can get quite confusing because of this whole myriad of types of sizes and so forth.

What we are talking about when we are talking centres is we are actually talking about the distance from the centre of the spindle there to the centre of the key hole, not the cylinder but the actual key hole. Where you put your key in, that is the centre we are talking about. These particular range of handles have a 68 mm centre, which is what Fullex Range of Multi-Point Locks would probably have.

Now when you are choosing handles there is always a reason why you need to have a look at something that is defined a better quality. And hats off to Fab and Fix they really thought about the quality of their particular product. What I have here is the satin silver finish. And again it is really, really nice in regards to its build quality. It is a bit weighty as well. And of course, it comes in this lovely chrome finish, and I have fingerprints all over it now. And of course in a polished brass finish as well, which really, really nice.

Another distinctive advantage of this particular type as well is that the handles are actually spring loaded. But they can still turn all the way around. So even if you got a lift up operation you will find that these handles won't droop after awhile. You find that unsprung handles, after a period of time, you may find that it will rely on the springs within the locking which is to stay up right. And if you drive around or have a look at other people's doors, you might find that they are drooping like this.

But of course, what they have done in here is they managed to put a spring set in there and therefore it will always maintain that particular handle laying in the horizontal so it always looks nice.

So, what they also do is they come in these different finishes as I have explained to you already. You can see them here on the bench. What they also do is this particular one because there is a range of Fullex locks that a hold back snip function that sits at the top as well. So, if you wanted to hold back the latch with door being free access, you can use this snip function here. And there is the actual snip function there as you can see it there. All right. So that is another option for you.

Now what I am going to do now is get the ruler out and get some measurements, etcetera, so if you are thinking to yourself oh, these look nice, this is the type of handle that I want to put on my door. The quality is here. Certainly, I'll vouch for the quality of this range handles. Let's get some measurements and let's see if we can get some more fixing and more information. So, as I mentioned the centre there is 68 mm, we know what that is now. The actual fixing centre is there. I am putting that there at 215 mm fixing centres. And the overall case of length of the actual handle itself is a smidge just under 250 mm. The width is 30 mm. So, that is what the width is of the handle is.

There you go Fab and Fix. I vouch this product. It is really, really nice. It is robust. It is quality. Look how thick, as well, the material there. They are not messing here, guys. They seriously thought about putting a good set of handles together for the consumer. Like I said, full range it is available on LocksOnline's website. Listen, if there is something that I have not or you want to know a bit more information, pop online, use our live chat on our website, pop us over an email. You can even post us. We still use post these days. Pop a letter off. But by all means, give us a call as well. More importantly, we would love to hear from and we'd love to see you as a customer. From me, Darrel, and all of us here at the LocksOnline team, catch up with you real soon. Take care. Bye-bye now.
