Some Fullex multipoint locking mechanisms offer a separate passive-security feature further up on the central gearbox, which allows these type of handles to operate a separate small square follower. The function of this secondary snib facility varies depending on the lock itself, but typically it's for an added layer of security such as locking the handles up in addition to the locking points.
These are supplied complete with the spindle for the snib snib on the inner backplate. The handles are sprung with spring-cassettes and by design are fully reversible. Fixing lugs are supplied on both backplates (2 on each) for a more secure fix.

Hi guys, my name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and watch one of our product review videos. Now we're putting these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the products that we have to offer, and hopefully a little bit more detail, in the flesh so to speak.
So today I want to show you a range of Hoppe handles that we have on our website designed for multipoint locks, uPVC multipoint locks more importantly, designed around the Fullex locking system. And one of the distinct advantages with this particular type of locking system, it has this snib that sits at the top of the handle there, as you can see there, which allows different functionalities of the actual Fullex lock to work in its completeness. So that's what kind of is unique about this particular type of setup. Now these particular handles have come standard with sprung loaded cassettes that actually sit inside there that allows that when you actually pop your spindle into here, therefore, it now does allow the handle to be sprung loaded, as you can see there, it's pushing those springs down. That therefore then reduces the effect of what we call, in the industry, a bit of a droopy handle, so therefore it's not solely relying on the actual locks springs in which to keep the handle in the horizontal position. The handle also is quite ergonomic in its design. It has the little ridges there, so therefore when you're putting your hand over it etc., it gives you that confidence in being able to hold the handle, and be able to push the handle down, etc., so that's quite good in that respect.
One thing that's unique with this particular type of handle as well is that the centres are surrounded by 67 millimetres, so it's not the industry standard sort of 92 millimetres. So a very very specialist sort of handle that for this particular application. Of course this is the internal handle and this is the external handle here as you can see. So very very quickly, what I'll do is I'll get you some measurements on these, so therefore if it is this type of handle that you're looking for, then as least then you can measure them up against your handles that you have on your doors, and the range here, and hopefully it's the right sort of handles that you're looking for. As I've mentioned, they are available in white, silver and gold, it's the gold version that we have right here in front of us. So let's get some measurements on these, very very quickly for you. So the actual width of this particular handle here is a relatively narrow one, it's coming in at around about the 26 - 27 millimetres. The overall length of this particular handle here, from one end to the other there, is 235 millimetres, and the fixing centres also, if I can just get that on there like that, the fixing centres give or take a millimetre is around about 215 millimetres, there fixing centres.
Now what I will also do is I'll utilize this handle here and give you some sort of centre measurements as well. If we take the centre of the spindle as the datum there, so up to this locking snib at the top, you're looking at around about to the centre there, round about 66 maybe 67 millimetres, that's from there to the centre there. And again, you're also looking from the centre of the key hole to centre of the handle, again, you're looking at round about 67 millimetres there. So there you go guys, it comes standard with the spindle as well that you will need. The overall length of this spindle, just for your information, is 144 millimetres, and it also comes as well with the two fixing screws as standard. Another little thing as well that you may want to look at is actually in the handle here, if you're looking at wanting to replace. I don't know if you can get that in for the video there, if you want to zoom in there really close, but you can see a range of numbers there. So if you're thinking that this is the model of handle that you want, one thing that Hoppe does have is that they have these stamp numbers in here that kind of confirms whether or not this is the handle that you're looking for.
So there you go guys. If you need a bit more information on these or any of the products that we have on our website, pop us over an email, use the live chat that we have, or simply pick up the phone and give us a call. Either way we would love to hear from you, and more importantly, we'd love to see you as one of our customers. So from me Darrel and all of us here at the team, thanks for taking the time to tune in, catch up with you real soon I hope, take care.
