These are used predominantly for bathrooms, wet rooms, shower rooms or en-suites where quick and easy privacy locking is desired, whilst also offering an emergency release override on the outside, which in the event of an emergency, allows access from the outside using a two-pence coin, a flat-headed screwdriver or even a simple butter knife!
