Exidor 500 Series Euro-Profile Outside Access Lever Handle

Designed for use with the Exidor 500 series, these outside access devices offer a return-to-door style lever handle which meets the requirements of the Equality Act formerly known as the DDA requirements, and complies with the BS8300 Approved Document "M".

These feature a non-handed design and can be set on-site to which ever orientation is necessary for correct operation, and work with a euro profile cylinder.  We can supply these with or without the cylinder, so should you wish to use your own master-keyed cylinders on these, you can simply opt for the model without a cylinder to minimise wastage.  For all other applications though, the supplied cylinder will come with three keys as standard. 

Fitted with a clutching system, when locked, the handle can be operated freely but with no resulting effect on the lock.  This prevents damage to the mechanism through excessive force, and will only engage with the lock when the handle has been properly engaged by using the euro cylinder to engage the spindle mechanism inside, allowing the handle to engage with the panic hardware fitted.
