Asec IGES T10 Ansi Monitored Electric Strike Release

The Igest range of electric strike releases has been designed and manufactured by Asec, a massive security distributer that supplies both the general public and private businesses. This model, the IGEST T10, is suitable for mortising into a door frame, much like older mechanical strike plates. It comes with an extended strike plate that also allows a greater number of possible options when it comes to installation. This model is has a high end surface treatment that gives it additional protection against the elements and weather resistance. The Igest T10 also is available with monitoring; this allows you to be able to remotely monitor the state of the door, in addition to its normal functionality.

Fail locked and fail modes are available with this electric strike release:

Fail Locked: Any strike operating with this configuration requires power to open the door, so in the event of a power failure, the door will remain in the locked position.


Fail unlocked: Any strike operating with this setup requires power to lock the door; this then allows it to remain in the open state, allowing free access, in the event of power failure.
