Thumbturn Euro Cylinder

Thumbturn Euro Cylinders, or Key and Turn cylinders, allow you to lock the door with a key from one side, and use a turn or snib on the other side.  Ideal for locations that require controlled access from one direction and easy access from the other. For example this style of cylinder may be used on doors such as an internal office or meeting room door, or in a GP surgery where privacy is desired at times but without the need for bunches of keys hanging from doors! Don't forget that many of these Thumbturn Euro Cylinders can be keyed alike, or included in a Master-Key Suite, giving you even greater security and peace of mind.

Within our range of Thumbturn cylinders we also have a 'Classroom' cylinder, which essentially offers an anti-lockout solution ideal for use in schools or similar environments where the more mischievous student may attempt to prevent a teacher from returning to the classroom. Even if the turn is being tightly held in an attempt to prevent release of the lock, the keyholder on the other side will be able to unlock the door using the key.
