The ASEC Vital British Standard 5 Lever Mortice Deadlock complies to BS EN 3621, as required by most insurance companies. To achieve this rating the lock case must contain a high security 5 lever mechanism; has to be resistant to cutting or an attack from a standard drill for a minimum of 5 minutes; must contain a mechanism making it resistant to being picked; the bolt must protrude a minimum depth of 20mm into the keep/strike; and there must be a minimum of 1000 differs to the lock range. 

The ASEC Vital BS3621 5 Lever Mortice Deadlock has a anti-saw deadbolt which contains rollers to protect against attack from saws. It is reversible, so can be installed to a door which opens in either direction; and features counter sunk screw holes, producing a tidy flush fit. 

The deadlock is available in a choice of 65mm and 75mm case sizes, and comes in a polished brass or satin stainless steel finish.
