These corrosion-resistant blank backplates for uPVC doors allow you to remove the outside handle from your door and replace it with a blank strip, removing key or handle operation from outside whilst retaining full functionality on the inside.
Designed with 211mm fixing centres, these have been designed to fit the vast majority multipoint doors. With a 243mm overall length, and a 32mm width, they are designed slightly oversized compared to a standard 240 x 30mm handle plate, to ensure that any markings or damage caused by previous handles is concealed. However they are not so oversized that they will look any different to the human eye!
Constructed with high quality aluminium, and coated with a premium white coat meeting Grade 5 BS EN 1670, these will stand up to a lot of weathering, having been tested under a 480 hour constant salt-spray test.
