Available in five sizes; 70mm, 80mm, 100mm, 127mm and 151mm - this heavy duty latch is a very popular choice due to its renowned versatility in terms of sizing and lasting performance. While all tubular latches look similar, they are not all made the same - and these are a perfect example of high quality manufacturing, and we're proud to say they are manufactured in the UK!
Designed with a two-way operation heavy-duty follower, these are suitable for unsprung door furniture without any upgrade, of course if you have sprung handles or knobs anyway this should not be a problem, but it's important to choose a latch with a heavy duty sprung follower if you're using unsprung door knobs or handles.
Unlike most tubular latches, these are designed to work with bolt-through handles and knobs too. The hole to the side of the 8mm square follower and then the indent on the very back of the body are there to allow bolts to pass through which is necessary for a lot of high quality handles these days which utilise bolt-through fixings for a more secure fit onto the door.
In keeping with the versatility of these latches, rebate kits are also available to allow for use on rebated internal doors. And let's not forget the stunning array of finishes available on the entire LocksOnline Imperial range - as standard these come in satin brass or stainless, but we can also offer these in Antique Bronze and Satin Black, as well as polished versions of the brass and stainless finishes.
Please be aware that the Imperial Locks range is manufactured to order for you specially - so please allow additional time for these to be dispatched!
These locks are fire-tested to BS EN 1634-1:2000
Important: These items are built-to-order specially for you and are not 'off-the-shelf' items. Therefore please allow a 10-14 day manufacturing period before dispatch. As such, these products they are deemed non-returnable so please double-check your requirements before placing your order.
