LocksOnline Imperial Tubular Bathroom Deadbolt (83mm - 151mm)

Ideal for use on bathroom doors where you want to be able to use bathroom privacy turn & release sets for locking and unlocking the bathroom door when in use, these tubular deadbolts are much like a tubular latch, only with a deadbolt thrown and retracted by the follower, rather than a sprung latch which would hold the door closed and be retracted by a handle.  

Available in both 8mm and 5mm follower versions, you will typically find that most bathroom privacy turn & release sets use a 5mm spindle, a step down from the typical 8mm spindles used on door handles.  But equally some do still use an 8mm spindle, and equally there are some unique circumstances where you may wish to use a knobset with a deadbolt like this, and most knobsets you will find use 8mm spindles rather than 5mm.   So deciding on which one you need to choose would be dependent on the spindle size required by the device you plan on using to operate it.  

There are four principle sizes available (so you'll see we have 8 in total between the 5mm and 8mm variants) as follows: 

• 83mm overall length, with a 60mm backset
• 100mm overall length, with a 75mm backset
• 127mm overall length, with a 100mm backset
• 151mm overall length, with a 130mm backset

For each of these options you'll find they are available in a range of stunning finishes; Satin Brass or Satin Stainless Steel as standard, as well as Polished Brass, Polished Stainless, Satin Black, and even Antique Bronze finishes, making these so widely suitable for even some of the most ornately decorated doors.
