The UNION HD Series Tubular Latch comes with both stainless steel and polished brass finish faceplates and strike plates, so you can swap and change the finish depending on your preferences.  This also means that if you don't have a preference, you can use one and keep the others as spares should you ever need to replace the faceplate or strike plate.  Furthermore you have a choice of radius-edged or square-edged faceplates depending on your requirements.

The latch on these models has been designed with a slight bevel to prevent any restriction when attempting to close the door, and to ensure that a smooth and easy passage over the strike plate is guaranteed every time.  To compliment this, the latch is mounted on a double-spring to prevent any handle-drooping and to ensure that the latch will work consistently when used on both left and right handed setups.

Their BS-EN 12209 certification makes them extremely durable and hard-wearing, as this is the core fundamental standard that outlines strength, durability and lasting performance on all locks and latches.

With fire certification for use on 60 minute fire doors and 30 minute fire doors, you can fit these on all standard timber FD30 and FD60 fire doors.
