Union Fire Rated Large Upright Latch

Manufactured in the UK, this UNION upright latch offers a host of incredible features such as fire certification, large case size, heavy-duty operation and a 10 year guarantee amongst others.

The latch is fully reversible, so handing does not need to be considered - this is an afterthought that can be tweaked on-site as and when you decide to fit the latch.

EN1634-1 Certification means these can be used on both 30 minute and 60 minute fire doors, and its high-quality strong build means it is ideal for high-intensity operation in largely trafficked areas where the door will be in constant use.  Because of this, you will also see in the photo that the body has holes either side of the follower.  These are designed to allow the use of bolt-through type handles or door knobs, where the outside handle bolts right through onto the inside handle, which is very common on heavy-use doors.
