Front Door Locking Knobset

Locking Knob sets are locks where the lock and 'handle' are integral to each other in the form of a door knob with a lock contained within. This type of lock was more common place in the 1970s but has become less popular over time as the range of door locks and styles available has grown. We don't advise this type of lock be used as a primary security method for your property as it is not British Standards rated, and therefore won't meet insurance company criteria. However they will be fine for use as a secondary means of security in conjunction with another, British Standard rated lock.
