The BS High Security Nightlatch conforms to British Standard 3621:2007 (BS EN 12209), and meets the tough criteria laid down by the insurance companies and the Police. The ERA 1830 & 1930 auto deadlocking Nightlatch automatically deadlocks on exit and comes with a 6-pin cylinder providing an excellent level of security, this model also contains a integral cylinder which prevents it from being able to be drill attacked. Due to its high level of security this model conforms to BS3621 british insurance rated standards
The ERA 1830 & 1930 auto deadlocking Nightlatch automatically deadlocks on exit and comes with a 6-pin cylinder providing an excellent level of security, this model also contains a integral cylinder which prevents it from being able to be drill attacked. This model of unique night latch is most suited for wooden and glass panelled doors. The auto deadlocking feature prevents forms of attack on the night latch via smashing the glass panels or manipulating the latch via letterbox. The ERA 1830 and 1930 can also deadlock by turning the key anticlockwise, giving you extra peace of mind and security. The bolt throw for this auto deadlocking cylinder night latch is 20mm. Due to its high level of security this model conforms to BS3621 british insurance rated standards, a set of guidelines set up in collaboration with insurance companies and the police.
This model comes in either 40mm or 60mm backsets. A variety of finishes are available including polished chrome, satin chrome and polished brass. ERA have been in business for 150 years and are based in Willenhall, the home of british security manufacturers.
