The Era Replacement Front Door Lock has a 60mm backset, and offers the option to be both a non-deadlocking nightlatch and a deadlocking nightlatch. This can be achieved quite simply by removing or inserting the rotation-limiting screw from the back of the cylinder, allowing the cylinder to either rotate one-way only (non-deadlocking), or be free to rotate both ways (in order to both unlock and deadlock).
Also with a newly designed lock body with larger footprints which will hide most existing marks on the door. Accidental locking is avoided by a bolt hold back facility on the body of the lock rather than the handle. The easy grip handle is ideally suited for the elderly.
