The Imperial G4050 is a full body mortice latch, with sizes reaching up to 101mm deep for a semi-horizontal type latch.
Available with both standard and heavy duty springing inside, the standard springing option is most popular, as it is designed for normal use with typical self-sprung handles, however if your handles or door knobs are unsprung (which some are, moreso with door knobs than handles), then you would need to upgrade to the heavy duty springing option that offers that extra power behind the spring to drive the handles as well as the latch itself.
It may also be advisable to consider the heavy duty springing option if the latch is going to be undertaking substantial use such as in commercial applications.
As well as having a diverse range of sizes, these latches also come with the option of every stunning finish offered by Imperial Locks. As standard of course, they are available in Satin Brass and Satin Stainless Steel. But should you need it, these can be made specially for you with the Polished versions of the Brass and Stainless Steel finishes, as well as the lovely Satin Black and Antique Bronze styles.
Also available are rebate kits to suit all three rebate types - 13mm, 19mm and 25mm.
Please be aware that the Imperial Locks range is manufactured to order for you specially - so please allow additional time for these to be dispatched!
These locks are fire-tested to BS EN 1634-1:2000
