Manufactured right here in the UK, the Imperial Clawbolt lock is designed for sliding doors where a traditional latch or bolt would not be able to stop the door from sliding open.
Clawbolt locks look much like deadlocks in principle, until the lock is operated via key, which is when all the magic happens! The bolt incorporates a splaying mechanism which creates a grabbing effect into the keep on the door frame, hence the term 'claw-bolt'. This allows you to secure your sliding doors with a 5-lever lock mechanism, without the need for hookbolts.
The lock is supplied with its suitable keep, as well as a pair of keyhole escutcheons to finish off the install in a clean manner. With this, two keys are supplied as standard, but of course we are able to cut extra keys for you - just select the quantity of extra keys required when ordering!
We are also proud to offer free keying alike on these locks - this means if you want more than one lock to work off the same set of keys, you can! And unlike most other sellers, we don't charge for this.
Also available as part of the range, are the stunning selection of finishes ranging from the typical Stainless Steel and Satin Brass finishes, to the extended series of Polished Stainless Steel, Polished Brass, Antique Bronze and Satin Black - a finish for every design scheme!
These locks are fire-tested to BS EN 1634-1:2000
