This Banham L2000 is self deadlocking, deadbolt night latch meaning when the door closes the lock will engage the deadlock and require a key to re-enter. Meaning the Banham is secure against potential sliding attacks on the mechanism.
Operation
Latchbolt is withdrawn by handle or key from inside, and by key from outside. Bolt can also be double thrown and deadlocked simultaneously by a full 180 degree turn of the key from either side. The latch holdback snib on the case can only be depressed once the bolt has been withdrawn by use of the key.
Additional Info
Supplied c/w 6 pin euro double cylinder, cylinder guard and bolt through security guard, and 250 mm extended strike plate to strengthen the door jamb. Automatically deadlocked when door is in the closed position.
