The Union 1332 is suitable for timber doors from 35 to 60mm thick, hinged on the left or right and opening inwards only suitable for glass panelled doors. These locks can be locked then turn the key again and the deadbolt will engage again offering additional security.
Operation
Latchbolt is withdrawn by pull handle inside or by key outside. Deadbolt is locked or unlocked by key from either side. One full turn of the key clockwise operates first throw and a second full turn double throws the bolt. Latch bolt can be held back by anti-clockwise turn of the handle whilst bolt is withdrawn.
