LocksOnline "Modena" Lever Handle Set on Round Rosette

These contemporary architectural door handles combine a bowed 'flat bar' type handle, which has been moulded to appear 'clamped' by the neck of the handle that projects off the door.

Due to their modern, ergonomic design; we would imagine these handles would most commonly utilised in a modern home or new office buildings, where their contemporary style would compliment the modern furniture and fixtures used throughout the building.  However, when considered for a more traditional home, you could very well see these looking perfectly at home amongst some lovely oak furniture or similar, and wouldn't necessarily clash or look out of place fitted to a nice traditional wooden door.

Available in two dual-finish models, incorporating a polished chrome 'neck' and inner-rose, with either a satin chrome or black nickel finish then on the flat-bar part of the handle and the outer surround on the rosette.

Supplied with both wood-screw fixings and bolt-through fixings, the choice is yours on how you wish to fit these.  However we would always recommend that you utilise the bolt-through fixings when possible.  This is because where wood-screws rely on the strength of the wood the threaded part screws into, the bolt-through fixings physically clamp the inner and outer handle together, allowing for a much more secure and firm fixing to the door.

All you need to ensure in order to utilise the bolt-through fixings, is that you have a lock case which can accept bolt-through fixings.  If you take a look at our related products shown near the bottom of this page, you will see a selection of lock cases for latch, bedroom or bathroom which do accept these fixings; and you will also see in the order options here that we have a range of matching escutcheons for keyholes / euro cylinders and privacy turn snibs for use with the bathroom locks.

Set on a standard 50mm rosette, you should find that these handles will easily use the same template as any existing handles, or bigger - thus covering up any marks left by old rosettes and their fixings.
