Sliding Patio Door Multipoint Locks
Multipoint locks for sliding patio doors are unique in as much as that they typically have small pins in the face of the lock which are designed to detect whether or not the door is fully closed before allowing the locking of the multiple locking points. This is to prevent damage to both the lock and the door / frame.
They will typically utilise multiple locking hook-bolts in order to secure the door - and if you're not sure which is best, more is generally better! The more locking points, the less likely it is anyone will be able to manipulate them - no matter how clever they are!
