Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline.co.uk. Thanks for taking some time to tune in, and have a look at one of our product review videos. The products that we've got in front of us today is a set of unique handles that are designed to work with Millenco multipoint locking solutions.
Now, what's really unique about these handles is what we call in the industry the PZ. In other words, it's the distance between the actual cylinder and the actual handles. Very, very unique with this particular range of handles. Now, this is the handle. They come in a standard white finish, as you can see there. They also come in a beautiful brass finish. Good quality polished brass finish, and also a silver finish as well.
But like I've said, one of the critical measurements on this particular range of handles here is the distance from the leading edge here, right to the end here. It's very, it's very, very long. In fact, the measurement there is 117 millimetres, all right? From there to the centre of the key hole is 117 millimetres. So that's well worth you know it.
The Millenco type of lock is quite unique as well, is that it has also what we call in the trade two separate spindle locations. One sets is also 85 millimetres as well as 117. And this particular range of handles is also available in a moveable pad on the outside. And the purpose for that is, it allows you to operate the multipart locking solution but utilize the key in which to get in. So, it works like a Yale sort of lock. And they're also available again in these finishes. And also with the different sizes for the backset, where you have the handle on the inside like standard.
So there you go, guys, yeah, beautiful range. Very, very, very unique. I'll give you some quick little measurements now just to help you along if you're thinking to yourself, "Yeah, this is what I actually need," let's get some measurements there. What's the fixing centres there is 235 millimetres, the overall size of this actual handle is 255 millimetres. And one of the distinct markers that you'll see, very, very quickly, is that the cylinder here is really far down at the bottom of the actual lock case, as you can see it there. Okay, so that's well worth looking at.
So there you go, guys, the Millenco range of multipoint locking handles available on LocksOnline's website.
