Padlocks for Shed Doors
Sheds, out-houses, and even greenhouses, can be an easy target for the opportunist thief, so it's a good idea to make sure they're secure.
You might think there's little point in securing sheds and especially greenhouses, because you'd be quite right in thinking that the thin wood panelling of a shed, or the glass panes of a greenhouse would not be particularly difficult to break through - but the thing to remember is thieves do not want to be caught, and braking things makes noise, and takes additoinal time, which creates a high risk of being heard, seen, and caught.
So bearing this in mind, there are many ways you can secure your outbuildings, but padlocks are generally the most universal solution, making use of a hasp & staple to padlock the door whether it's a greenhouse or a shed etc.
The level of security you choose to go for truly depends on your personal assessment of the risk level. It may be that you just want a deterrent and don't necessarily want to spend much on a high security padlock. But should you be particularly conscious of security, we have some bulkier, heavier duty padlocks available too.
note, we cannot guarantee the suitability of these padlocks for your
specific application. These padlocks are listed as being a typically
suitable style of padlock only. Measurements and specifications should
be checked thoroughly to ensure suitability for your application.
