The ABUS 147TSA series combination padlock is TSA approved. The TSA, based mostly around the united states, has been instructed that they are to break any locks on luggage that needs to be inspected. This can cause several problems, the main being that your luggage will be unprotected for the rest of the journey, usually into an international country.
TSA approved locks prevent this because they have a master key available to them which will allow them to inspect luggage without damaging the lock, they will then lock it back up for you, leaving you secure in the knowledge that your possessions are protected. This excellent padlock innovation provides excellent value for money and comes in a 33mm body size. This model has a steel shackle design and has a 3 combination wheel.
