This is Abus' marine weather-proof padlock, which does exactly what it says on the tin! With a stainless steel shackle and stainless steel ball-bearing locking mechanism, coupled with a sealed sheated brass body (including lock cover cap), this padlock is ideal for extremely exposed environments where rust may be an issue with other padlocks - J.C
This weatherproof Abus padlock has achieved a rating of 8 on the Abus Global Protection Standard. This is a fantastic score for a marine-orientated padlock like this, and is therefore a great solution for exposed conditions requiring decent security as well. It boasts 100% corrosion resistance due to its brass body sheating and cylinder cover. The shackle locks on both sides for superior protection against brute force attacks.
We build these padlocks with our High Security EPS Cylinders in our workshop. This is performed by highly experienced locksmiths. These cylinders are anti-pick, anti-bump, and built for optimum wear resistance, to ensure that the locking mechanism is the best it can be to provide superb security.
Another advantage of this, is that our cylinders are built with a patented profile so it is not possible to obtain a key copy without prior authorisation from the registered key owner (the original purchaser).
These padlocks have a cover-cap for the key locking mechanism, to ensure the lock does not get damaged by exposure to extreme weather conditions.
Please note that these are hand-built to order so may take extra time to build (this affects all orders including those choosing express delivery). Please be aware that these are custom built to your specifications, and as such we are unable to accept the return of these items for a refund. However we are able make alterations to pinning arrangements or incorrect sizing etc if required, this may incur a workshop fee but does allow for correction of incorrect specification at the time of ordering.
Important: Any padlocks & associated hardware intended to be used in external settings should be properly maintained and lubricated to an appropriate level for the setting in order to ensure correct operation and protection from unnecessary weathering.

Hi, guys. My name's Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline.co.uk. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
Now today I want to talk to you a little bit more about our LocksOnline EPS high security cylinders, our patent protected cylinders. But more importantly, we now have an exciting range of Abus padlocks that we can interface with our EPS LocksOnline cylinders. This allows you, the customer, to have a range of cylinders, euro, rim cylinders, oval cylinders, Swedish oval, etc. and now a whole range of padlocks designed for a specific application, when it comes to master keying, or wanting them keyed alike.
What I wanted to show you today is Abus's version of the all weather proof, marine grade, weather resistant padlock that we can now interface with our LocksOnline EPS system. Now this particular padlock here has a stainless steel shackle, it's got some fantastic little seals around here as well to stop any water and egress of dirt and corrosion, or salt water getting down into the mechanics of it. And of course, at the bottom of it as well, as you can see they have this cover here that actually protects the cylinder as well.
So if you're talking about security out on oilrigs or your looking at your new wind farms, or vessels, on boats and yachts and so forth, guys, this might be the actual product that you might be looking for. And of course, one of the benefits is that you could have a range of door locks and a range of cylinders etc., all can be interfaced on this particular master key system.
Now the shackle on this one, I'll just give you a quick idea of what the size of the shackle is. It's just short of 7.5mm, so that's about the thickness there, so that's what you really need to be looking at. Absolutely fantastic quality, designed for harsh environment, and of course it's now in our EPS system.
