Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm the head of the tech team here at LocksOnline.co.uk. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos. Today we're going to talk about bullet locks. Not the type that you get into a gun, but an actual lock that we call in the industry a bullet lock. And what they're designed to be used with is they're designed for roller-shutter doors. Now the idea is that these particular locks are actually welded on to the runners on either side of the roller shutter door. The idea then is that when you actually push this lock into its keep, it throws a bolt not only through the sliding frame but also through the actual roller shutter itself.

This is the H75 version. It's manufactured by a company called Tessi. You may find this particular style without a name on the front. At this moment in time you can see on this particular version we've got Tessi stamped on there. But you may find this particular style without Tessi stamped on there. So it's being well with you making sure whether or not this is the type of one that you have. Some of the unique things about this particular lock is, as you can see, the body is actually a rectangular body as opposed to a lot of these bullet-type locks are oval in shape. So this is quite unique to this particular one. There are not many out there with this particular type of profile.

Now you may see that there's a number actually on there. And that number is actually the key number that is reflected on the actual key itself. So if you've got this bullet lock and you happen to have no keys for it then we can get that key for you, should you so wish if you have that key number.

The principle on how they work is quite straightforward. This will actually be into its housing. This bolt would be going through the frame, the roller shutter and outside the other side. And simply by inserting the key in there and turning it, you actually drop that down, like that, and allows you then to pull out the bolt and then hopefully when you go to lock it you could just push the bolt in and that will ride over its keep and then hold it secure without the use of the key. Sometimes when it gets a bit older, you've got to fiddle with them a little bit. But 99%of the time, that's the application. So this is the H75 version.

What I will do now is that I'll get you some additional measurements. You could think, "That really looks like the one that I'm after and I need a bit more information on it." Let me get you some measurements to help you make that determination. So the actual body length, that's the actual length of the body there, if I was to get that for you, bare with me. That is 42mm. That is from the inside to the outside. The overall length of the actual bolt itself to the end, I'm going to say is about 48, 49mm. So that's the overall length there of the bolt itself. The height of the flat piece, that is, is 16mm. And I'll get the width there. The width there is 14mm, give or take. That's 14mm thick. The actual diameter of the actual front there, let me see if I can get that for you, is 25mm. So that's 25mm across.

So there you go, guys. It's the Tessi H75. It's available on our website, along with the whole myriad of different types of bullet locks for different manufacturers like Viro and so forth and ILS and so forth. So if this isn't the one for you, we do have a complete range and we have got very comprehensive ranges. And chances are we should have the one that you're looking for. If it happens to be that you need a bit more information or you're not 100% sure, by all means, pick up the phone, give us a call, use the live chat on our website during the working hours and we can chat with you live or speak to me or any of the guys in the team. We're pretty knowledgeable on this product range. So from me, Darrel, and all of us here at LocksOnline, many thanks for taking the time to tune and have a look at this video. Come and be a customer of ours; that would be really great. So for me, Darrel, thank you.
