LocksOnline Imperial Warded 3-Lever Sashlock for Internal Doors

Packing in extra key differs thanks to the brass shroud around the keyhole, the Imperial G3001 is the same high quality 3-lever mortice sashlock as the G3000, only this one offers more key differs due to the warded keys required to operate the locks.  

While the three-lever configuration on these locks is not suitable for high security use (for this, please consider 5-lever and BS3621 models instead), these are still a popular choice for internal doors where you wish to keep people out, such as bedrooms and other private areas around the home. 

Supplied with two warded keys as standard, we are also happy to be able to offer extra keys to be cut in our workshop.  Because these are warded as an added layer of protection, these cannot reliably be keyed-alike, so if you did want to have these all on the same key, please consider the Imperial G3000 which we can key alike free of charge.

These locks come in three set sizes;  The height and faceplate sizes remain the same, but the depth of the body and position of the keyhole from the edge of the door (the backset measurement) are available in three sizes as follows:

• 63mm case-depth, with a 45mm backset (the most common, modelled on the old 2.5" size locks)
• 76mm case-depth, with a 57mm backset (the second most common, modelled on the old 3" size locks)
• 101mm backset, with an 82mm backset (definitely less common, but also difficult to find if you need to replace one so well done, you found it!)
  

These locks are available in many finishes also.  As standard they are available in Satin Brass and Satin Stainless Steel - the most popular choices.  However, we can also get these in Polished Brass, Polished Stainless Steel, Satin Black and Antique Bronze.  

You will also note these locks offer standard and heavy duty springing.  This is important as it will be dictated by your door furniture.  Most handles have their own springs that return the handle to the horizontal position when you let go of the handle, however some are un-sprung, and in this case you should upgrade to the heavy-duty springing to ensure the handles to not wear the spring in the lock out over time. 

These locks are also fire-rated under BS EN 1634-1:2000 and are performance-rated.  With that comes an impressive 10 year guarantee!
