UNION 2D2 Series Ultra Heavy Duty Latch

When all else fails, the 2D2 Series enters the ring.  This is a seriously heavy duty latch, designed for doors that receive a huge amount of traffic and therefore are operated on a much higher scale than is considered 'normal use'.

Because of it's heavy duty build, you can use unsprung lever handles on these with no problems at all - although to prolong the life even further you may still wish to consider using sprung handles, but the follower is sprung strongly enough to consider this unnecessary.

Since this is designed for high-traffic areas, it's only logical that the case is pierced to accept bolt-through furniture fixings, as your handles on a high-traffic door would typically be the bolt-through fixing type rather than screw-fixed.

In keeping with its robust design, UNION have put their much-desired 10 year guarantee on these, so you can rest assured the product is built to last, and should anything go wrong (which is of course highly unlikely), you know you'll be covered for a good 10 years.

Due to its case size, this would also qualify as DIN Standard, so ideal for commercial premesis.
