Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline.co.uk. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
Today we're talking about the Era 720. It's the window restrictor lock that is manufactured by Era. They do a metal version. They also do a wooden version. This one that you see here on this model is the wooden version. The beauty with the model is it gives you the opportunity to see the product actually working to a degree.
At this moment in time, as you can see it there, if I was to open this out like that, you can see there that this has automatically held itself in that position there and obviously won't move either way. If I wanted to open it a little bit further, I just simply lift it up like that, as you can see. And of course, this then will not go any further than that. And depending on where this fulcrum is, that's the maximum amount of opening. Of course, if it's further up by the hinge, it's going to open a lot more. If it's further down by the bottom of the actually window, of course, it's going to be a lot less.
As you can see here at this moment in time, it's actually mimicking a window opening from the top, as you can see here, like a top-hung window. But, of course, if I was to sit this on its side like that, then it's no different to if it was a casement type window. Now, we have done a product review a little bit more in detail on this particular product. But this little short little video allows you to actually see how it actually works in its uniqueness and so forth on what they would call a model, as you can see here.
So it's not my intentions to go into detail on this particular little video. It's just for you to allow you to see it there, how it actually works in the flesh. So from me, Darrel, and all of us here at the LocksOnline team, thank you for taking a quick little bit of time to tune in and have a look at this in quick motion here. And if you need a bit more information, by all means, pop online and give us a shout. So from me and all of us here at the LocksOnline team, take care. Thanks, bye-bye now.
