If you live on the coast, or in a high tourist seaside town, it’s always a must to ensure your home security is of the highest it can be. Unfortunately, living in a place that attracts lots of holidaymakers leaves you potentially more at risk of a burglary, so today I want to show you a great product that ensures high security against a forced entry.
The Ingersoll London Line BS3621 Dead Lock is no ordinary front or back door locking solution. The main feature of this lock is that it offers a hook bolt rather than a straight bolt. This means that when you lock your door, the additional security hook bolt allows high prevention against forced entry. This unique design allows the frame to stay intact should you face an unwanted visitor. This does not then compromise the hinges of the door, as the frame stays intact.
The lock itself is suitable for both front and back doors, and is finished in a brass or chrome. Great for main exit doors, the Ingersoll Lock comes with a dimple cylinder. For anybody who is unsure what this is, it is a high security cylinder that is used with a key that has small dimples in it. Using one of these cylinders means that a key cannot be copied very easy. A normal door key has a zig zag edge either in the top or on the bottom. These keys do not. Instead the zig zags and dents are placed on the sides of the keys. This means the operation of the key will be horizontal rather than vertical like most doors. 2 Keys are supplied with the Ingersoll lock itself.
The 5 lever, high security designed dead lock easily complies with the BS3621 British Standard, ensuring it is highly insurance rated. A great solution for all homes! As you can see, the lock is a perfect security solution for any home or even business. It boasts high quality and uniqueness, ensuring your taking extra security protection for your household.
